Where is the Good News?

Looking at the news today, it is hard to find stories that include something positive. From war, to division and chaos in our own country, as well as our own individual struggles, it can we overwhelming.

So how does one move forward? The Bible tells us we can find peace in all our circumstances by trusting that God is sovereign over all things. While that may be hard to accept, God is at work constantly using things that don’t seem fair or right to shape and refine our character and move His ultimate plan of redemption forward. We can personally experience the Good News of Jesus by receiving God’s grace in our life, through repentance and turning back to God – it is that simple!

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Because God is sovereign, we can trust that the Good News of Jesus, once received, is at work in our lives and in the world around us.
