Jimmy Thomas

Jimmy has worked in the hospitality business for 37 years all but a short time with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG). He has had a broad range of experience in such areas as strategic planning, advertising, quality control and most recently as Director-Americas Sales where he works closely with his team managing airlines, tour operators and 3rd party intermediaries that place their employees and clients into IHG hotels on a global basis. Jimmy became a Christian in 1978 and will briefly share this testimony. He will also share a personal journey and story he has had recently that deals with his cancer, golf, 2nd Corinthians 12:9 and the recent Olympics all centered around God’s involvement and influence in his experience. Jimmy graduated from the University of Tennessee and also obtained an M.B.A. from the University of Memphis. He lives with Marty, his wife of 35 years and has 3 children, Joshua, Micah (daughter) and Joel.
