William F. (Woody) Faulk, Jr.
Mr. William F. “Woody” Faulk, Jr. is Vice President of Brand Strategy and Design for Chick-fil-A, Inc., a privately held, $3 billion dollar restaurant chain with 1450 locations in 34 states, where he leads a team to keep the Chick-fil-A brand relevant while the Chick-fil-A cows remain vigilant in encouraging people to “Eat Mor Chickin®”. Encompassing a wide scope of responsibilities from clarifying Chick-fil-A’s brand approach for competing within the highly-competitive restaurant industry, to leading menu strategy, product development, brand expressions, store environments, and service, his responsibilities focus on “what customers see, taste and touch” while experiencing the Chick-fil-A brand.
Mr. Faulk has worked in a variety of roles within Chick-fil-A including responsibility for testing Chick-fil-A’s brand acceptance outside the United States, Operations, and Marketing.
An Eagle Scout, Mr. Faulk began his hospitality career at twelve delivering newspapers door-to-door prior to entering the restaurant industry washing dishes and busing tables at his local Bonanza Steakhouse.
Mr. Faulk holds an MBA from Harvard (1992); a BBA from the University of Georgia (1983); and attended Richmond College – London (1981).
Mr. Faulk is involved as a board member in numerous and diverse community and philanthropic organizations. He makes his home in Atlanta, Georgia and is married to the former Rae Cleveland of Houston, Texas, and has three daughters.
